It has been quite some time since the last time I posted anything, but figured before y'all started getting worried that I should post something ;) (Warning; this post contains a lot of pictures ;) )
I am now more than half way through the semester, and I must be honest, I like my classes this semester better. This is probably due to two reasons, my classes are more in depth with the subjects (last semester I mostly took intro classes) and I have been talking more to the people in my classes. I also decided to join a club, according to some people it is something you HAVE to do when you are in college. So I decided to join Troy Students for Social Justice, it's a nice little club with nice people. The main purpose of the club is to protect human rights.
Atlanta, Georgia
Since the last update Anna, Sofie and I had a little day trip to Atlanta, Georgia. This trip took place back in the beginning of February, yes it has been so long since an update. Either way, we went to see World of Coca Cola and CNN.

Birmingham, Alabama
We also did a day trip to Birmingham, Alabama, not quite as exciting. For this trip it was Lewin, Oscar, Jenny, Anna, Jody and I. We were suppose to go see the civil rights museum, but there was simply too many people, so we decided to figure out something else to do. But we did get a very nice walk in downtown Birmingham.

After our walk in downtown, Jenny, Anna and I went to do some shopping at The Summit, while the others went to the zoo. On our way back to Troy we picked up Malin in the airport in Montgomery. The most interesting thing about this trip was probably our drive home from Montgomery, when Lewin's GPS decided to lead us through no mans land, or as we say in danish "Ude hvor kragerne vender". Looking back, we did see a new part of Alabama
Spring break 2015!!!
For spring break Malin, Sofie and I went on a cruise to the Caribbean, not a bad deal!
We had three stops on the way, St Maartin, St Thomas and the Bahamas, and then three days on the sea.
Before leaving the port Cassidy took us downtown Miami, where we went to see the Wynwood Walls, a famous area, which used to be a bad area, now turned into one big art gallery where the paintings are the walls of the buildings.
This picture is pre-cruise so 'The Sofies' are still not tanned, Malin cheated with a week in Miami a week before.

St Maartin
After two days at sea we finally arrived to the first island, St Maartin. St. Marteen is a dutch colonial island, so we were technically back in EU.

St. Thomas
Our second island was St Thomas, the previously Danish island, which we were stupid enough to sell to the US during first world war together with St Croix and St John, for $25 mil. The weather wasn't the best that day, so we decided to take one of the guided tours, that way we got to see the whole island which was a little bit too big to tour on foot. The biggest city on St. Thomas is called Charlotte Amalie and is named after a Danish queen and is the Capital of the US Virgin Islands.

Nassau, The Bahamas
After yet another day at sea we go to our last island, Nassau. We went for a little walk in the city of Nassau, which was mostly a lot of traffic and some buildings that could need some renovation. After we went back on the ship to get some lunch we went to Cabbage Beach, which is the most famous beach on Paradise Island.

I also have a couple of things to look forward to, since my parents are arriving in the US in 3 weeks and I will see them in a little over 3 weeks. It is definitely gonna be great to see them again after what will be a little over 8 months, at that time. And for you at home; I will be home in less than 2 months, which is very weird to think about, but it is gonna be good to see everyone again, even though I am, without a doubt, gonna miss this place a lot and the people here. I luckily have two weeks in Fort Lauderdale with two of my roommates, Alex and Cassidy, and Anna, before leaving for Denmark
